Volkswagen Arteon R-Line 4MOTION Pre-Bookings Now Set In Motion!

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) announced that the all-new Arteon R-Line 4MOTION is now available for pre-bookings! 

Yet to be confirmed, upon the launch of the model it is most likely to be priced within the range of RM245,000 and RM255,000. 

The Arteon is the brand’s flagship model that was revealed to Malaysian markets in 2020. 

This model now comes with a revised interior and exterior, new technology, as well as a new engine. Not only that, the Arteon displays the new Volkswagen and R logos, a first for the brand. 

Coming with a redefined front grille and bumper, the Arteon is also equipped with full LED headlights, as well as new LED 3D lights with sequential indicators. 

Under the hood, the model runs on a 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged engine that is paired with a 7-speed wet clutch direct shift gearbox (DSG). It produces 276hp and 350 Nm of torque at 5,100 to 6,500 rpm. 

On top of that, the Arteon is equipped with a 4MOTION all-wheel drive system and is able to reach the century sprint in 5.6 seconds. 

Inside, the model comes with a revised steering wheel with haptic touch controls, ErgoComfort sports seats in Nappa Carbon leather featuring the new R logo, and a premium Harman Kardon 700-watt 12-speaker audio system. 

Following that, there is also a 9.2-inch Discover Pro infotainment that comes with voice and gesture control, as well as is now compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Not forgetting the high-resolution Digital Cockpit that will provide a much smoother driving experience for the owner. 

As for safety, the driver assistance system includes Lane Assist, Side Assist, as well as Driver Alert.

The all-new Arteon R-Line 4MOTION comes in five shade options that includes Lapiz Blue, Manganese Grey, Pyrite Silver for metallic options as well as Deep Black and Oryx White for pearl effect colours.
