What We Tell You About The New Arteon R And Arteon R Shooting Brake!

Do we hear whispers of Volkswagen introducing the Arteon R and Arteon R Shooting Brake to Malaysian markets? 

It is powered by a 2.0 litre four-potter that produces 316 hp and 420 Nm of torque. On top of that, the Arteon R and Arteon R Shooting Brake is said to be able to sprint from zero to 100 in 4.9 seconds, with the option to increase its top speed to 270 km/h. Like all R models, the power is transmitted to all its wheels. 

The R is widely known for being the model’s performance powerhouse. 

Some of the highlights include the R-Performance Torque, exclusive R colour Lapiz Blue, blue brake callipers with R logo, as well as improved DCC adaptive dampers. 

Not only that, there are four drive modes available all with the press of the R button on the steering wheel. Among them are Comfort, Sport, Race or Individual to suit all driving needs. 

At the moment, sales of both the R models have already begun in Europe and are carrying a price tag starting from EUR 63,980.00 (RM 322,178.75).
