Traversing Across Japan In 30 Days, The Raging Bull’s Urus Conquers All
Japan’s Automobili Lamborghini previously launched a road trip journey around the country aboard its super SUV, the magnificent Lamborghini Urus.

The cross-Japan project called ‘UNLOCK ANY ROAD JAPAN’ started its adventure on April 26 from Fukuoka and ended on May 23 in Tokyo.

Said haul encompasses a route of more than 6,500 km and toured around 17 different parts of the country, all to experience the scenic pleasure and especially the Urus’ drive.
Its relay-style drive was undertaken by automotive, lifestyle and fashion media, in which they departed and arrived at authorized Lamborghini dealerships over the span of a month.

Overall, in the first half of the route, the drive began in Fukuoka and passed through the incredible backdrops of Hiroshima, Kobe, Osaka, Nagoya, Kanazawa, Yamagata, and Akita.
Then, travelling north along the Sea of Japan, the two Urus passed through Hokkaido, Sendai, and Yokohama before reaching the final destination, The Lounge Tokyo in Roppongi.
Gazing at the Urus, both super SUVs exclusively tailored by Lambo’s Centro Stile design division featured one in a ‘Giallo Inti Pearl Capsule’ and another in ‘Blu Astraeus’ specification.

Portraying a bold two-tone exterior, it combines Lamborghini’s traditional high-gloss four-layer pearl hues of ‘Giallo Inti’ yellow, ‘Arancio Borealis’ orange and ‘Verde Mantis’ green.
Furthermore, it features a high gloss black roof, sporty rear diffuser, mean-looking spoiler lip, and other finesse detailing that completes the whole aggressive silhouette.

Interior wise, the unique two-tone colouring continues. It gets hexagon-shaped upholstery stitching ‘Q-Citura’ with logo embroidery on the seat, plus carbon fibre and black anodized aluminium details.
Made available exclusively on the Pearl Capsule, the optional fully electric seat features airy perforated Alcantara leather for exceptional comfort.

Now, to break down the journey, in Fukuoka, the tour visited Miyajidake Shrine, which is famous for its view of the Road of Light and then travelled to Hiroshima to visit the Atomic Bomb Dome.
During their time in Kagawa, the two super SUVs had a refreshing drive through Flower Park Urashima with its flower fields and ocean view before continuing to the 12,300 m Great Seto Bridge.

After that, the drive continued to Bizen City, which offered elegant views of Japan and Himeji Castle, which was Japan’s first World Heritage Site.
There, the expeditioners managed to capture on film the combination of Japanese culture and the Urus, with its dynamic performance and unmistakable Lamborghini design.
Notably, with a view of the secluded Juni Falls deep in the mountains, the convoy got to experience the Urus on the off-road trail of Nara Trial Mountain through muddy terrain.

While driving, the SUVs encountered the Yoshino River Koinobori before arriving at the Shigiikoma Skyline, which commanded panorama night views.
Once finishing a peaceful drive through the beautiful Nishinooka Bamboo Forest Road, the tour stopped at Yasaka Shrine, which is said to have been established over 1,300 years ago.

It then continued by Pacific Long Beach with its majestic stretch of beautiful blue ocean, then Lake Biwa, and finally arrived in Shirakawa-go Village, surrounded by Japan’s unspoilt landscape.
The convoy then arrived in the Higashi Chaya District, lined with traditional townhouses with distinct red lattice-work windows.
Next, when the convoy reached the Chirihama Nagisa Driveway, the drivers could experience the Urus’ drive on a sandy beach.

At the Yamagata Prefecture, the Lambo SUVs were photographed with Hakusan Island, which sits off Yura Beach. The dual paint of the Urus Pearl Capsule added lively colour to the beautiful landscape.
Evidently, the purpose of the project was to communicate the beauty, dynamism and other charms of Japan while demonstrating the absolute versatility of the Lamborghini Urus.

Speaking of which, it is the first Super Sport Utility Vehicle in the world to blend the soul of a super sports car with the functionality of an SUV.

Thus, as the quintessential representation of freedom, the Urus enables drivers to unlock any road to explore any terrain, from track to sand, ice, gravel or rocks.
