Welcoming Chery Tiggo 7 & 8 Pro to Malaysia, As Confirmed!

Growing steadfast in many consecutive years, Chery has brought its Tiggo Pro series in making great success across the nationwide including Eastern Europe, South America, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

Previously, we’ve known of OMODA 5 giving hints regarding its presence in the nation and now, both Tiggo 8 and 7 Pro are planning to follow its footstep? 

As the futuristic OMODA making its appearance on a FB page, the model comes with 1.6 litre TGDI petrol engine via seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

As reported,  half-millionth unit of  Tiggo 8 series triumphed as the fastest model to achieve the 500,000 unit mark among Chinese-brand mid-size SUVs and seven-seater SUVs.

At presence, the infamous Chery Pro members comes in four SUVs and one sedan.

3. Tiggo 7 Pro 

4. Tiggo 8 Pro

5. Arrizo 6 Pro

Numerous awards have also been bestowed upon the Pro Family globally, including ‘Most Technical SUV’ and ‘Best Advanced Technology SUV’ for the Tiggo 8 Pro, plus ‘Best-Selling SUV’ and ‘Most Popular Chinese Car Model’ for the Tiggo 7 Pro.

In terms of bodywork, the model is painted in a strong exterior visual signature with galaxy-inspired geometric matrix diamond front grille and LED headlamps. 

The Pro Family flagship, the Tiggo 8 Pro, boasts three separate screens instilled a horizontal 12.3-inch instrument panel, an 8-inch climate control screen and a 10.25-inch floating infotainment screen in the centre of the dashboard.

Then, it comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and 360-degree camera display. 

However, Tiggo 7 Pro also shares the similar features with wireless phone charging and an electric tailgate. 

In terms of safety concerns, there are six airbags, traction and stability control, ISOFIX, Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Automatic Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSC), Intelligent High-beam Control (IHC), Blind Spot Monitoring (BSD), Front Collision Warning (FCW) and an emergency Brake Override System (BOW).
