A 28- Years Old Senior Police Officer Killed in Horrible Accident
Around 4.45 pm yesterday, a 28-year-old senior police officer has found dead after he fell off his motorcycle and was run over by a tipper lorry along the Grand Saga highway towards the city.
The victim is Inspector Mohd Farhan Zahari who was on his way back home in Gombak after attending a course at the Royal Malaysian Police in Cheras.
Farhan had served the force for two years and 11 months and attached with the Subang Jaya district police headquarters' Criminal Investigation Department

According to Selangor Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Superintendent Azman Shari'at stated, he said Farhan was riding his motorcycle in the same direction of the lorry driven by a 30-year-old man who was from Hulu Langat and headed to Jalan Kuchai Lama.
Azman said Farhan's body was brought to the Serdang Hospital for a post mortem scheduled later today after obtaining Covid-19 results.
"Initial investigations showed that at KM11 of the highway, Farhan tried to overtake the lorry from the left road shoulder.
"However, the sandy road condition caused Farhan to lose control of his machine. He fell and landed at the left rear tyre of the lorry and was run over. The lorry was travelling on a valid lane when the incident occurred’’
‘’Farhan suffered serious injuries and died on the spot," he added.
Both vehicles had been taken to the Kajang district police headquarters for inspection, he added.
On the Polis Selangor official Facebook page, police chief Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed, on behalf of his wife as well as the state contingent, expressed condolences to Farhan's family.
The case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving.
