Brand new Perodua Alza crashed barely two days after delivery

Some folks just have the worse luck, like the unfortunate owner of this brand new second-generation Perodua Alza. Barely two days after it was delivered, said Alza and its owner were involved in a multi-car crash.
Judging from the images featured, the Alza definitely took quite a beating, and we wouldn't be surprised if it gets written off.

As reported by our BM colleagues, the accident occurred in Tampin, Perak on Aug 2. Three other vehicles were also involved in this incident - a Perodua Kancil, a Proton Saga, as well as a Hyundai SUV. According to Tampin District Police Chief Superintendent Anuwal Abd. Wahab, the accident happened around 5.55PM at Kilometer 36 along Jalan Tampin Gemas, Jalan Kampung Sungai Dua, Tampin.

The accident occurred at the Kg. Sungai Dua-Air Kuning road junction. The Alza, driven by a schoolteacher heading towards Bukit Jalor Air Kuning, came to a stop at said junction, along with a Perodua Kancil just behind it, likely heading in the same direction.
Whilst both cars were halted at the junction, a Proton Saga, driven by an 18-year-old youth, exited the same junction from another, but collided with a Hyundai SUV that was also entering the same junction. This resulted in the Hyundai SUV losing control, thus crashing head-on into the Alza that was stationary at the junction.

It is understood that the Perodua Kancil that was also stationary behind the Alza was collided into from this accident too, though the circumstances of how it was damaged remains unclear. The driver of the Perodua Kancil, on the other hand, reportedly suffered minor head injury and was treated at the Tampin Hospital.
