70% of Malaysian prefers the Turbocharged HR-V

Honda Malaysia reported 70% of buyers would prefer the Turbocharged HR-V model compared to the naturally aspirated 1.5 S (18%) and hybrid-powered 1.5 RS (12%).
More than that, approximately 30,000 bookings for the brand's B-segment SUV having volume distributed 18% for the base S variant, 18% for the Turbo E, 52% for the Turbo V, and 12% for the range-topping RS e: HEV.
2022 Honda HR-V also recorded nearly 7,000 deliveries in September 2022 on top of 70% buyers adores trending models compared to the naturally aspirated 1.5 S (18%) and hybrid-powered 1.5 RS (12%).
Pricing wise, the HR-V is priced from RM114,800 for the S, RM129,800 for the Turbo E, RM134,800 for the Turbo V, and RM140,800 for the RS e: HEV, prices are OTR excluding insurance and sales tax.
Ironically, buyers prioritized turbo power over top variant specification (RS e: HEV) and overall affordability (S).
The latest HR-V model is being assembled in Pagoh, Melaka.
