Auto Bavaria announces Limited Edition BMW 530i and 530e M Sport

Authorised BMW dealers Auto Bavaria have announced a special and limited-run offering of the G30-generation BMW 5 Series that’s available exclusively through its dealerships. Available in both BMW 530i and 530e M Sport forms, just 30 units of these special editions are up for grabs whilst stocks last.

What sets these specials apart from the regular G30 LCI BMW 5 Series variants they underpin is the various M Performance Parts fitted. Highlights of which include the high gloss black-finished kidney grille, BMW M 50 Years wheel caps, BMW M Performance carbon fibre mirror cover, BMW M 50 Years emblems (front and rear), BMW M Performance carbon fibre steering cover, BMW LED door lights projector, gloss black air duct trims, M Performance paddle-shifters set, and M Performance floor mats.

BMW M Peformance parts aside, these limited edition units from Auto Bavaria also come brimmed with the BMW Advanced Car Eye 2.0 dashcam. Lastly comes a series of exclusive gifts such as a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone, a Sttoke ceramic reusable cup, as well as a complimentary tinting package.

Apart from the visual and aesthetic enhancements plus the free gifts package, both these cars remain mechanically identical to the regular 5 Series variants they’re based upon. In the case of the 530i M Sport, it features a turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cyl mill and 8-speed automatic box pairing, the former delivering 252 HP and 350 NM to the rear wheels via the latter.

As for the 530e M Sport plug-in hybrid (PHEV), it also harnesses a turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cyl mill and 8-speed automatic box, but the former works in tandem with an electric motor and accompanying battery pack instead. In this form, this mid-sized executive saloon boasts a total system output of 292 HP and 420 NM plus the ability to sip just 2.3 litres/100 KM on average too.

As for price, the Auto Bavaria have tagged the 530i M Sport Limited Edition at RM362,800, whilst the electrified 530e M Sport Limited Edition commands RM420,800 – RM4,583 and RM18,000 more over their respective base cars in fact. Said prices include a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty plus free scheduled service add-on package.
