NO to S600 but YES to Camry? #PM10's CHOICE!

Back to the news fascination with what our new Prime Minister rides on! This time around, the 10th Malaysian Prime Minister has rejected the Mercedes Benz S600 as his official vehicle and instead chooses to be chauffeured in a Toyota Camry.
He also revealed on his social media recently stating that he had turned down the chance to use a super-luxurious Mercedes Benz S600 that had been purchased before he was elected, as stated in the previous article.
Furthermore, he affirmed the decision because he did not want to incur additional costs for himself. Now, let’s look into the new 2022 Toyota Camry which was unveiled earlier this year.

Examining the most recent Toyota Camry, it offers new features that are worth considering. For example, with the touch of a button on the control panel conveniently located within the central armrest, rear passengers may easily recline their seats, adjust the back tri-zone air conditioning system and sunshade, including manage the audio system.
Surprisingly, this is the first time something of this nature has occurred in the Camry industry. On top of that, the 2022 Camry has refined and sumptuous looks both inside and out. It also sports a Bi-LED Projector with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL).
Under the hood, the car is powered by a 2.5 Dynamic Force Engine, which provides cutting-edge performance when combined with the Direct Shift 8-speed Automatic Transmission, ensuring agility and efficiency.

Rides on 18-inch Alloy Rims, the D-sedan Camry equipped with paddle shifter and three drive modes - ECO, Normal, and Sport - for easy manoeuvring and a responsive drive.
There are five colour variations available to pick from, including Platinum White Pearl and Burning Black which seems to be our Prime Minister’s choice. Although, it will cost an additional RM800. Other signature colours would include Platinum White Pearl, Silver Metallic, and Red Mica.
In terms of safety aspects, the 2022 Camry features automatic headlamps with the Follow-Me-Home function, which improves driver safety upon arrival at their destinations.
And last but not least, the cost of the 2022 Toyota Camry should be price starting from RM199,109.50 with 50% Sales & Service Tax exemption and without insurance. It also comes with a full 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage.
