Ukrainian YouTuber Turns Formula 1 wheel Into A Mono-Wheel

Sergii Gordieiev, a Ukrainian YouTuber (and engineer) with the channel The Q, has created a spectacular new device. He built an electric monowheel by starting with a Formula 1 wheel.

He describes how he arrived at this point in a video that was uploaded on his YouTube channel.

He integrated a number of technology, using a hoverboard's self-balancing capabilities, to produce this contraption.

He created the platforms for the feet to rest on after integrating it into a mechanism that can be mounted to the wheel. The end product resembles an enormous Onewheel.

Despite the substantial width of its racing tyre, this mono-wheeler is not actually a racing vehicle, therefore there is no question that it cannot compete with traditional monowheels.

Although it's not the most comfortable car to drive, its technical prowess is impressive.

This special prototype is not meant for mass manufacturing or retail sale.
