Elmina Intersection (EXIT 3504) From GCE Highway Closed - Plane Crash Investigation & Clean-up

The PROLINTAS Group has announced the temporary closure of the Elmina Intersection (EXIT 3504) on the GCE Highway in both directions. This comes after a plane disaster last evening involving a small private charter jet, a motorbike and a car. Ten persons are suspected to have died as of today.
The Elmina Intersection is closed to allow for an investigation into the occurrence and road cleanup/repairs.

Those travelling to Elmina via the GCE motorway are recommended to use the Bukit Subang Intersection (EXIT3505), or they can exit the highway at the Elmina North toll plaza and take the Paya Jaras exit.
Furthermore, according to Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, the authorities would carry out all processes to expedite the road openings. PROLINTAS also advises all road users to plan their journey to avoid congestion due to this unforeseen incident.
