Lamborghini Lanzador EV Concept Debuts As First Electric Raging Bull

Lamborghini Lanzador EV Concept arrives as the first all-electric Raging Bull!
After several teasers and initial leaks, Automobili Lamborghini has finally unveiled its first-ever all-electric model, the all-new Lamborghini Lanzador EV Concept. Featuring a unique SUV-esque lifted styling with sporty silhouette, this new 2+2 EV concept will serve as an early look at the marque’s upcoming production EV model.
As the Raging Bull’s first all-electric model, the Lanzador is powered by a dual electric motor setup that delivers a whopping 1,341 HP or 1 MW – making it slightly more powerful than the new Revuelto PHEV. Unfortunately, the Italian marque has yet to unveil further details of the Lanzador’s powertrain spec.

Powertrain specs aside, the Lanzador EV Concept will ride on an active suspension system featuring air springs and adaptive dampers, while rear-axle steering helps to give this chunky EV some pedigree in the corners. Elsewhere, this EV GT also sports a unique torque vectoring system that helps to precisely distribute power to all four wheels independently, thus further improving the Lanzador’s handling.

Visually, the Lanzador boasts the typical wedge-shaped body style featured on many existing Lambo models, while riding on beefed-up wheels that grant the EV concept with its tall-riding stature. This prominent ground clearance, plus the elongated sporty roofline to accommodate the 2+2 seating configuration gives the Lanzador typical EV SUV-esque proportions, especially its short front-and-rear overhangs.

The Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva system promises the Lanzador to deliver stellar driving dynamics
Nestled beneath this tall-riding EV GTs is the marque’s proprietary Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva system. Not to be confused with the local B-SUV model, this aero system features a slew of movable and adaptive aero parts including the front splitter, extended rear diffuser, and many more, which all can be precisely controlled to provide minimum wind resistance. When engaging in the more aggressive drive mode, all these aero parts will be controlled to provide the Lanzador with maximum downforce.

Lamborghini does not skimp-off when designing the Lanzador's innards
On the inside, the Lanzador is primed with a stunning cabin design with a slew of futuristic-looking tech bits and luxury amenities. Up front lies the Lambo’s signature “pilot” cockpit design concept, featuring a Y-shaped dashboard with a floating centre console separating the driver and the front passenger.

Drivers will get a digital instrument cluster that hides beneath the flat-bottomed sport steering wheel, with most of the controls mounted both on the steering wheel and on the central console area, including the jet fighter-style push-start button. The infotainment screen, on the other hand, is moved to the passenger side of the front dash, which is still controllable by the driver via a stunning rotary dial controller.

Aside from the 2+2 seating layout, the Lanzador also comes with a sizable boot space!
Unlike many of its sporty siblings, the Lanzador EV Concept boasts a respectable level of practicality, courtesy of 2+2 seating configuration featuring bucket-style seats wrapped in sustainably-tanned leather with Raging Bull-embossed headrests, as well as its sizable boot space. Should you need to haul bigger things, the rear two seats can be flat-folded, offering a degree of practicality that is never to be seen on a Lambo grand tourer.

The Lamborghini Lanzador EV Concept will be re-introduced as a production-ready model by 2028, as part of Lamborghini’s rapid electrification push. Prior to that, all new Lamborghini models, including the Huracan successor and the next-gen Urus SUV will be electrically-assisted in some ways by the end of 2024. Currently, the Revuelto PHEV stood as the sole electrified production model, while the limited-edition Sian being the first-ever Lambo to feature a hybrid powertrain setup.

To prepare the marque’s Sant’Agata Bolognese facility for the Lanzador production, Lamborghini is planning to hire additional employees and EV manufacturing experts, aside from renovating its assembly line to accommodate EVs. As for the price, we can expect the production-ready Lanzador EV to be tagged handsomely, but we’d also reckon Lambo’s first-ever EV will immediately be sold out once the order books are opened.
