New Lamborghini Revuelto 'HPEV' has officially entered the Malaysian market!
Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur sees its supercars lineup expanded today, as the marque welcomes Lambo’s new signature V12 model – the Lamborghini Revuelto – into the Malaysian market. This launch also marks Malaysia as one of the earliest markets in the region to debut the Raging Bull’s first ‘High-Performance Electrified Vehicle’ (HPEV).
Named after a famous fighting bull from Barcelona in the 1880s, the Revuelto is exclusively powered by the marque’s first-ever plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain setup that still retains the iconic twelve-pot mill as its main core.

The Revuelto's PHEV setup comprises of a V12 engine as its core
As detailed prior, the Revuelto’s PHEV setup comprises of a familiar 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 mill derived from its predecessor, which has been spun round by a full 180-degree to make room for the new transversely-mounted 8-speed DCT gearbox. The PHEV components come in the form of three electric motors – one in the transmission, and one ‘Axial Flux’ motor on each front wheel – granting the Revuelto a unique all-wheel drive (AWD) layout.

Whilst the V12’s 814 HP output already made it the most powerful mill ever built by Lamborghini, the three electric motors further boost its output figure to a whopping 1,001 HP – making it the first production Lamborghini model to break the 1,000 HP mark.

Powering the Revuelto’s electric motor trio is a small 3.8-kWh lithium-ion battery pack that is placed in its central tunnel, which is good for a maximum EV range of only 10 KM. Said battery can be recharged via a 7 kW AC charging method that’ll take 30 minutes for it to be fully-recharged. Alternatively, the rear motor can also fully recharge it directly in just 6 minutes.
Underpinning Lambo’s new lightweight chassis architecture that is primarily made of carbon fibre, the Revuelto promises a very agile and robust driving experience, which is further enhanced by the presence of 13 selectable driving modes – courtesy of the PHEV powertrain’s trick electronics.

Visually, the Revuelto continues the design language of Lambo’s previous flagship V12 models, while featuring the marque’s latest design cues. Its sharp and fierce front fascia features stylish LED headlights with Y-shaped DRLs inspired by the limited-edition Lamborghini Sian, as well as racing-style carbon fibre splitter. The side gets a slew of sharp aero bits and sculpted intakes, while the tailpipes at the rear are now raised higher, which are flanked by its Y-shaped taillights.

Elsewhere, the Revuelto gets Lambo’s signature scissor doors, a bevy of active aero parts including the new active rear wing, as well as snazzy-looking wheels with dual five-spoke design shod in bespoke Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres.

On board, Lamborghini has bestowed the Revuelto’s cabin with several new equipment, including the triple screen layout. This trio of screens consists of a 12.3-inch unit serving as the digital instrument cluster , a portrait-oriented 8.4-inch one for the infotainment system, as well as a third 9.1-inch screen that acts as an interactive display for the passenger.

For better accessibility, most of the driving-related controls are placed on to its new steering wheel, including the dedicated EV mode button and the driving mode selector. Similar to the Aventador, the Revuleto also gets a jet fighter-style engine start button, placed on the central console of the car.
Finishing off the Revuelto’s equipment list is the complete safety package consisting of both active and passive safety features. The former includes ADAS functions like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Blind-Spot Monitoring (BSM), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA), and many more.

Order books for the Lamborghini Revuelto is now open via Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur!
At present, the order books for the new Lamborghini Revuelto has been opened by Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur on the price-on-application (POA) basis. However, an insider from Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur has stated that the Revuelto should be priced around RM2.5 million excluding duties and taxes.
As we previously reported, all Lamborghini models, including the new Revuelto, have all been spoken for at least two years from now. While bookings for the Revuelto have already commenced, we’re looking at realistic delivery dates starting from mid-2025 to early-2026.
