Launched: 2023 Mazda 6 20th Anniversary Edition – RM240,848

Refreshed 2023MY Mazda 6 is now available locally, and it includes a new 20th Anniversary Edition special based on the Mazda 6 2.5 High Plus Sedan.
Besides the upgraded 2023 Mazda 3, Bermaz Motor also announced the availability of the updated 2023 model year Mazda 6 range locally. Included in this update is a special 2023 Mazda 6 20th Anniversary Edition variant.


One striking feature of the Mazda 6 20th Anniversary Edition is the special Artisan Red Premium paint it wears, which was specially developed using a unique Tkuminuri paint technology.
Based on the range-topping Mazda 6 2.5 High Plus Sedan variant, the 20th Anniversary Edition easily stands out thanks to the special Artisan Red Premium paintjob it wears. This is Mazda’s fourth specially tailored paintjob crated via a unique Takuminuri (artisan colouring) paint technology.
This produces a precise, high quality finish akin to one applied by the hands of a skilled craftsman. The combination of colours, highlights, shade and depth were meant to emphasises the Mazda 6’s lines better thanks to its fine-grained transparent red with a dominate shade producing profound depth and contrast.



Exclusive to the 20th Anniversary Edition is the tan-coloured leather upholstery pictured, ventilated front seats, 20th Anniversary fender badges and headrest embossing, as well as frameless auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
Completing the exterior treatment here are commemorative 20th Anniversary badge in the front fender, exclusive 19-inch wheels treated in bright metallic finish, as well as gunmetal-finished radiator grille. Next comes the cabin’s exclusive tan-coloured leather upholstery with 20th Anniversary badges embossed into the front seat headrests.
Said front seats are now primed with ventilation too. Other changes include a frameless auto-dimming rear-view mirror, 7-inch multi-info display instrument cluster, and added rear window shades.
For this special, Bermaz has tagged it at a princely figure of RM240,848. If this seems a little too rich for you, then fret not as Bermaz also announced the availability of the revised 2023MY version of the regular Mazda 6 2.0 Sedan and estate-bodied Mazda 6 2.5 Touring variants.

Like the refreshed 2023MY Mazda 3, much of the changes were performed on board starting with the addition of a new wireless smartphone charging pad.
Specifically for the 2.5 Touring and 20th Anniversary Edition, the active driver assist (ADAS) suite has been beefed up slightly with newly added Front & Rear Smart Brake Support (SBS), Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) with both Stop & Go function and Cruising & Traffic Support (CTS).

Wireless charging pad is now standard across the board. Both the 20th Anniversary Edition and 2.5 Touring variants also see their ADAS packages heightened further.
Apart from which, there aren’t any mechanical changes to note. The base Mazda 6 2.0 Sedan continues to harness a familiar Skyactiv-G 2.0-litre 4-cyl petrol heart with 162 HP and 213 NM to drive its front wheels via a Skyactiv-Drive 6-speed automatic box. This package promises average fuel efficiency of up to 6.5 litres/100 KM.
For the 2.5 Touring and 20th Anniversary Edition, both harness a larger Skyactiv-G 2.5-litre -4cyl mill that outputs 192 HP and 258 NM instead. Drive goes to the front wheels via a Skyactiv-Drive 6-speed automatic box, promising fuel efficiency rates of 7.0 litres/100 KM (sedan) and 7.1 litres/100 KM (estate).

The 20th Anniversary Edition is tagged at RM240,848 - RM10,000 more than the refreshed 2.5 Touring variant. The base-spec Mazda 6 2.0 Sedan, on the other hand, is priced at RM180,359 instead.
As for price, the fully imported (CBU) refreshed 2023 Mazda 6 2.0 Sedan is tagged at RM180,359, whereas the 2023 Mazda 6 2.5 Touring estate commands RM230,848 instead. All prices listed here includes Bermaz’s standard offer of a 5-year or 100,000 KM warranty and free service package.
Additionally, this updated 2023MY Mazda 6 model, as well as the new 20th Anniversary Edition special, will be displayed from 10AM to 10PM at the Bermaz Auto Showcase taking place at the Oval Concourse of 1 Utama Shopping Centre from 11 Oct until 15 Oct.
