Penang Bridge Closure On January 20 For Repair Work
The Penang Bridge's left and middle lanes will be closed for maintenance, as announced by PLUS. The closure will take place on Saturday, January 20, from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
The first bridge's middle and leftmost lanes will be closed to traffic from KM7.55 island to the mainland.
This is to facilitate emergency repairs to the bridge connector.
The highway operator advises motorists to follow the crew's instructions and drive safely while in the area. Always maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you and obey the speed limit. Plan your route, as the bridge run may take longer than usual this Saturday night.
