MeGroup MG Dealership Coming Soon To Setia Alam!

MeGroup's subsidiary in Malaysia, Menang Nusantara Holdings, has been appointed as an official dealer by MG Malaysia. The firm is set to establish its outlet in Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang and aims to commence operations from Feb 28, 2024 onwards.
This appointment is subjected to a contractual period of 36 months with a possibility of extending for another 24 months. This move also pretty much signifies MeGroup's inaugural venture into the local electric vehicle (EV) auto sales sector.

As reported prior, MG Malaysia, an arm of SAIC Malaysia, is set to distribute the MG brand and its models locally. The brand is set to officially launch itself soon, SAIC Malaysia have been actively appointing dealers nationwide ahead of which.
MeGroup’s upcoming MG sales and service centre will be housed in a two-storey 3S facility at Setia Alam.
MeGroup's dealership portfolio currently consists of seven brands; Proton, Ford, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, and Peugeot. In total, the firm operates 11 outlets.

We are committed to enhancing value for our customers through this appointment," expressed Wong Cheong Chee, the MeGroup’s Executive Chairman and CEO.

He further adds, "Our entry into the EV market presents an exciting opportunity for growth, aligning with the evolving technology landscape in the automotive industry."
Meanwhile, Jeffrey Wong, Head of Group Expansion and Strategy & Dealership, said, "Continuing to diversify our offerings and expand our customer base remains a priority for the group. Venturing into the EV space enables us to cater to a niche segment of environmentally-conscious customers, further enriching our business proposition."

On a quick note, MG Malaysia is poised to offer Malaysian consumers an array of vehicles including both EVs and traditional ICE- and Hybrid-powered models. To date we have confirmed that 4 models would be introduced this year namely the MG4, Cyberster, MG HS as well as the still not launched MG3 that will be unveiled globally very soon.
