For those who are unaware, Chinese automaker Chery boasts multiple sub-brands under its portfolio besides Jaecoo. Each has entered various market categories, offering vehicles tailored to different income brackets.
One of which, called Exeed, reportedly opened up the order books in its Chinese home market this week for its latest offering called the Exlantix ET. This sub-brand is positioned in the high-end premium luxury space and, aptly, the results are very telling.

The Exlantix ET presents itself as a premium EV SUV with pre-sales set to begin from April 15. The initial batch was produced in Anhui Province beginning in Jan this year. The vehicle, classified as a medium-to-large SUV, has dimensions of 4,955 MM in length with a 3,000 MM wheelbase, 1,975 Mm wide, and 1,698 MM tall.
The Exlantix ET underpins Chery's E0X high-end electric platform, which supports both 400-volt and 800-volt EV architectures. Its sleek design includes a closed grille and through-type headlights. These are then complemented by an elongated tail light design that akin to the Proton S70’s.

The Exlantix ET is also brimmed with 30 sensors tied to pair of Orin-X chips on board, altogether providing advanced driving assistance in both urban and highway scenarios. Another key tech present is a 15.6-inch central touchscreen offering baby, pet, and karaoke modes.
The vehicle also offer various other luxurious amenities such as zero-gravity seats with ventilation, heating, and massage functions, 23-speaker Lion Melody Max audio system, massive 2.38 square-metre sunroof, and a proprietary health monitoring system that screens passengers' vital signs in real-time.

The Exlantix ET is powered by a dual motor setup with a combined output of 413kW (554 HP). This also enables it to complete the 0-100 KM/H sprint in just 4.5 secs. As for range, a claimed WLTP-rated figure of 530 KM is being touted.
The motors are powered by CATL's LFP 2.0 Shenxing battery pack. The Exlantix ET stands as the first mass-produced car to use this latest CATL's battery tech, in fact. This battery pack also boasts rapid charging speeds, promising up to 400 KM range with just 10 minutes of charging time.
