MercedesTrophy Is Back In Full Swing

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has announced the return of the MercedesTrophy. The tournament series, now in its 34th year, allows customers to connect with the Mercedes-Benz brand through their shared passion for golf.

The MercedesTrophy is a global amateur golf series held for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia customers who enjoy the sport. Every year, the tournament series attracts over 60,000 golfers from more than 60 countries, making it one of the most sought-after events.

This year's competition will consist of four qualifying rounds, the first of which will take place on May 14 at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club. The winners of each round will advance to the National Final, which will take place on June 20 at the ELS Club Desaru Coast in Johor.

The four categories are:

1. Category A - Handicap 0 - 12

(Customers’ Category - Men)

2. Category B - Handicap 13 - 20

3. Category C - Handicap 21 - 24

4.  Category D - Handicap 0 - 36

(Customers’ Category – Women)

The winners of each round will compete in the National Final on June 20, and the top three finalists with the highest stableford points from each category will advance to the MercedesTrophy World Final, which will be held from September 29 to October 3 in Stuttgart, Germany, the birthplace of the automobile and Mercedes-Benz. In an effort to encourage the perfect drive, the first player to hit a Hole-In-One on any of the two designated par-3 holes at each venue will win a Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ 4Matic worth RM419,888. Price is driving without insurance.

Furthermore, "Drive to the Major" is a one-of-a-kind competition offered by Mercedes-Benz around the world. The finalist with the straightest drive or the closest to the line wins the "Drive to the Major" competition at the MercedesTrophy National Final Malaysia.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia invites all owners who purchased a vehicle from any authorised dealer within the last five years to participate in the MercedesTrophy worldwide.
