Save Up to RM11,000 with The Chery Omoda E5 Early Bird Package

In case you missed it, Chery Malaysia has officially introduced the Chery Omoda E5 in Malaysia this week.
Chery Malaysia’s introduction of its first EV model, the Chery Omoda E5, has garnered rave reviews amongst local EV enthusiasts and general customers alike, with the new EV SUV model boasting decent performance and style packaged in a pretty attainable price of RM146,800 on-the-road.

The first 2,000 customers who book the new Chery Omoda E5 will receive a special package worth up to RM11,000 in total.
To celebrate this milestone launch, Chery Malaysia has included a special early-bird package for customers who’ve purchased the Omoda E5. The first 2,000 customers who book the Omoda E5 are entitled to receive freebies worth up to RM11,000 in total. This includes things such as a complimentary home wallbox charger worth RM3,500, a vehicle-to-load (V2L) device worth RM500, and free charging credits worth RM1,000 from EV Connection (EVC).
The latter freebie is borne out of Chery Malaysia’s partnership with EVC, which not only grants Omoda E5 users access to over 474 charging stations under its network and roaming partners but also provides a seamless charging experience via the built-in Autocharge feature.

Aside from the special early-bird package, Chery Malaysia also makes ownership of the new Omoda E5 easier via its collaboration with Maybank. The Omoda E5 can now be purchased through Maybank’s exclusive finance package with interest rates as low as 2.08%.

Also impressive is the comprehensive warranty package offered by Chery Malaysia for the Omoda E5. On top of the standard 7-year or 150,000 KM vehicle warranty, the Omoda E5 is also offered with a specific 8-year or 160,000 KM warranty for its EV components, which includes the power motor and its control unit, the power battery management system, and the vehicle control unit.
On top of that, Chery Malaysia also offers a 1-to-1 battery exchange if the battery’s state of health falls below the 70% mark within the warranty period.

Only one variant of the Omoda E5 is offered in Malaysia, powered by a FWD motor rated at 201 HP and 340 NM with a 61-kWh battery pack.
A little recap on the Malaysian-bound Omoda E5’s specs, this fully-imported (CBU) unit is powered by a front-mounted (FWD) electric motor setup rated at 201 HP and 340 NM, allowing a 0-100 KM/H sprint finish of 7.6 seconds.
Said motor is juiced by a 61-kWh LFP ‘Blade’ battery pack that grants it a decent WLTP range of 430 KM. With an AC charging rate of 9.9 kW and a DC charging rate of 80 kW, fast DC charging can replenish the battery from 30% to 80% in just 28 minutes.

Those who are keen to size up the new Chery Omoda E5 EV can visit any of Chery Malaysia’s showrooms from March 8 to 10, where a special showroom event will be held concurrently with all Chery outlets nationwide. For more information regarding the Omoda E5, you can visit Chery Malaysia’s official website or its Facebook page.
