Naza Automotive Holdings Sdn Bhd (Naza Auto) has formed a partnership with leading clean energy solutions firm Gentari Sdn Bhd (Gentari). Together, both seek to provide nationwide access to a network of charging stations for electric vehicle (EV) users.
Naza Group's Executive Chairman, SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin said, "Our collaboration with Gentari demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and is a bold move towards expediting Malaysia's EV journey. It is ideally aligned with the government's goal of transitioning to a greener economy by 2050."

He adds "This collaboration not only displays our dedication to sustainability, but it also ensures a thriving ecosystem for EVs. The deployment of EV charging infrastructure shows NAZA and Gentari's collaboration, serving not only to our tenants and communities, but to all EV enthusiasts nationwide."
Shah Yang Razalli, Deputy CEO of Gentari and CEO of Gentari Green Mobility, added, "Our collaboration with Naza Group goes beyond the installation of EV charging points. We intend to develop a safe and reliable charging infrastructure across Malaysia by leveraging Naza Group's wide commercial operations and Gentari's unique solutions, inspiring confidence in all EV users."

Gentari plans to begin the deployment of EV charging infrastructure across Naza Group properties, enabling broad accessibility for EV users. The staggered rollout began Aug last year, with installations at Naza Tower, Platinum Park KLCC, and, most recently, Naza Automall in Petaling Jaya.
Naza's commitment to sustainability extends to existing projects, including plans to incorporate charging stations into key developments such as KL Metropolis in Mont Kiara and TTDI Sentralis in Section 13, Shah Alam. This approach would strengthen Naza's position as an outstanding partner for the EV brand it represents in Malaysia, while also supporting the government's National Energy Transition Roadmap ambition to installing 10,000 public EV chargers by 2025.

This collaboration is built on a shared commitment to sustainability, innovation, and seamless user experiences. Gentari's complete EV charging solutions complement Naza Auto's commitment to adopting electric mobility across its diversified portfolio, assuring unrivalled access to charging stations for potential EV customers and all EV users.
