Geely’s LEVC L380 MPV Begins Delivery, RHD In 2026

Geely-owned London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) officially started deliveries of the LEVC L380 minivan in China, with a starting price of RMB379,900 (RM244,000). This milestone was marked by a delivery ceremony at the ASEAN-China Centre.
LEVC, founded in 1919, has been under Geely's ownership since 2013. The manufacturing plant was relocated from the United Kingdom to Zhejiang, China. The current LEVC model line includes the TX cab and the soon-to-be-introduced L380 minivan. The L380 is expected to enter the UK market in 2026.

The LEVC L380, a large electric minivan designed by former Bentley designer Brett Boydell, will adopt the Geely Space Oriented Architecture (SOA) architecture derived from the SEA platform. The L380 measures 5,316 MM long with a 3,185 MM wheelbase, 1,998 MM wide, and 1,940 MM tall. To put into perspective, the L380 is 216 MM longer than the Toyota Alphard.
The L380 is available in four trim levels in China:
- 100 kWh Air – RMB379,900 (RM244,000)
- 116 kWh Pro – RMB439,900 (RM283,000)
- 140 kWh 4WD Max (8 seats) – RMB479,900 (RM308,000)
- 140 kWh 4WD Ultra (6 seats) – RMB479,900 (RM308,000)

The interior of the L380 is designed for comfort and technology, offering up to eight seats in a 2+2+2+2 configuration. It features a 15.4-inch main screen, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, and a 19.8-inch augmented reality heads-up display (AR-HUD).
On the safety front, the L380 comes equipped with 11 airbags, including side airbags for each seat. It also boasts dual 12.8-inch screens behind the front seats and dual 5.98-inch rear armrest screens for passenger entertainment.

The L380 offers three powertrain options:
- Single motor 200 kW (270 HP) with a top speed of 170 KM/H, 100 kWh ternary NMC battery, 570 KM range (CLTC)
- Single motor 200 kW (270 HP) with a top speed of 170 KM/H, 116 kWh ternary NMC battery, 675 KM range (CLTC)
- Dual-motor 400 kW (536 HP), 180 KM/H top speed, 140 kWh NMC battery, 785 KM range (CLTC)

The L380 minivan rolled off the assembly line in Jan, with blind pre-orders starting in May and the official launch taking place in June.
Now that the RHD model has been confirmed for the UK market, there is possibility that we might get the L380 in Malaysia, either under Proton’s e.MAS badge.
Should this happen, it would be the national brand’s first large-sizes MPV after the mid-sized budget friendly option the Exora which was recently retired from the line-up after 14 years.
