According to the Communications Ministry's management services division secretary, Harun Ali, the parade route will be ready by Aug 22, allowing final preparations to commence.
If you plan to attend the rehearsals or the main event, it's important to follow the instructions on the signage provided in the area due to the road closures. The authorities have made arrangements to minimise any inconvenience. Eighty shuttle buses and five water taxis will also be provided to ferry visitors around the area.
Besides the road closures, the event organisers have made provisions for approximately 8,000 seats and 100 vendor stalls, ensuring that attendees have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
