XPeng Malaysia continues to make strides in the local electric vehicle (EV) market with the upcoming launch of its XPeng Center Johor Showroom, now 90% complete.

Located at Lot R08, Anjung Neighbourhood Centre in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, this new outlet will be XPeng’s first dealership in the southern region. Notably, its also the first dealer-owned XPeng outlet in Malaysia.

The showroom is operated by Azam Motors, a long-standing Mazda and Kia dealer under Bermaz Auto Berhad (BAuto). The 1S centre, focused on sales and delivery, is nearing full completion but is already operational, fulfilling customer orders.

This follows XPeng’s official entry into Malaysia in Aug, offering the G6 EV in two variants: the 580 Pro (RM165,000) and 755 Pro (RM185,000). Both come with comprehensive warranties, including a 5-year/120,000 KM vehicle warranty and an 8-year/160,000 KM EV battery warranty, offering peace of mind to new owners.

In addition to the new showroom, XPeng owners in Johor will benefit from dedicated service and maintenance support at Azam Motors’ XPeng Permas Service Centre located at Lot 103394, Jalan Permas 7, Bandar Baru Permas Jaya.

Meanwhile, all body and paint needs will be handled at the XPeng Permas Body & Paint Center located at No. 7, Jalan Permas 9/14. For the time being a Kempower mobile DC charger will be employed to compliment any vehicle servicing needs, while the service centre houses a single AC charger to compliment vehicle delivery and test drives.

With the backing of BAuto and with Azam Motors’ extensive experience in the southern automotive market, XPeng is poised to solidify its presence in the country, offering premium EVs backed by comprehensive after-sales support—all at a competitive price.
