Launched: Suzuki Jimny Artic Edition – RM167,900

Naza Eastern Motors officially debuted the new Suzuki Jimny Artic Edition last weekend during the third Jimny Lifestyle Drive event.

Suzuki cars importers and distributors Naza Eastern Motors launched a new special variant of the Suzuki Jimny 3-Door compact 4x4 SUV. New to the range is the Suzuki Jimny Artic Edition, which debuted last weekend during the third Jimny Lifestyle Drive event organised by the firm.

Visually, the Artic Edition treatment gives the Jimny 3-Door a very distinct styling twist. With its exterior, this special rocks pearl white-painted grille, front and rear bumpers, rocker panel and wheel arches to complement and match its exclusive white base exterior paintwork.

In Artic Edition, the Jimny 3-Door gains a slew of special exterior bits including pearl white-painted grille, wheel arches and bumpers, as well as other bits like door visors, mud flaps and soft tyre cover.

Other key additions include door visors, three-panel glass tint, as well as exclusive Artic-themed soft-tyre cover and black mud flaps. Moving inside and this special sees its cabin gain a two-tone Nappa leather seats, plush floor mats, as well as a thick new surround trim for its infotainment.

Apart from which, little else has changed. This also means this special continues to feature a 1.5-litre 4-cyl petrol mill plonked up front putting out 100 HP and 130 NM. Said mill is paired with a 4-speed automatic box and part-time four-wheel-drive (4WD) system with a low-range transfer box.

On board, the Artic edition sees its cabin gain plush new surrounds for its infotainment, distinct two-tone leather seats, as well as plush carpeting.

Following up from the Rainforest Edition, Black Edition and Rhino Edition specials launched prior, the latest Artic Edition flavour pictured is tagged at RM167,900 sans insurance. However, Naza Eastern Motors is also offering it with a limited-time early bird promotional rebate worth RM7,000.

Apart from the new special variant detailed, Naza Eastern Motors also announced two new exterior paintjob options for the regular Jimny 3-Door, those being Pearl White and Chiffon. For reference, the base Jimny 3-Door mentioned is priced from RM158,900 sans options, accessories and insurance.

As a refresher, Naza Eastern Motors had also launched the larger and arguably more practical Suzuki Jimny 5-Door variant back in July this year. This extra-doored variant commands a higher RM199,950 base price tag instead.
