GoCar & drivEV EV Car Sharing in JB from RM199/Day

GoCar Malaysia and Yinson GreenTech’s drivEV have launched an electric vehicle (EV) car-sharing service in Johor Bahru, catering to locals and visitors from Singapore.
Two EV models, the AION Y Plus Elite and Ora Good Cat 400 Pro, are now available for booking at key locations like Toppen Shopping Centre. The AION Y Plus offers a range of up to 420 km (WLTP), while the Ora Good Cat provides up to 320 km (WLTP).

This initiative meets the rising demand for green mobility in southern Malaysia. To enhance connectivity, GoCar has partnered with Causeway Link electric buses, enabling convenient drop-offs for travelers between Singapore and Johor Bahru at nearby GoCar locations.

For those interested GoCar is offering affordable rental rates and special short term launch promotion:
- Ora Good Cat: From RM24.90/hour or RM199/day.
- AION Y Plus: From RM27.90/hour or RM279/day.
- Special promo: Book the AION Y Plus for five hours at RM100 using code “JBJOLT” (terms apply).
According to Wong Hoe Mun, CEO of GoCar Malaysia, “This expansion to Johor Bahru is another step toward sustainable travel, offering practical zero-emission mobility options.”

Kelvin Soon, MD of drivEV meanwhile added, “Our partnership makes green travel more accessible, creating convenient and eco-friendly options for commuters.”
