Wuling Unveils Official Photos Of 2025 Zhiguang EV

Official images of the next Zhiguang EV, which is being co-developed by SAIC, GM, and Wuling, were just unveiled. Wuling is set to launch this cutting-edge car in 2025, which was previously seen in road tests in China. Wuling is well-known for producing reasonably priced electric vehicles like the Hongguang Mini EV.
The EV was touted by CNC as an electric Swiss army knife because of its 20 expandable storage spaces, which would provide users with a great deal of convenience. At first glance, the 2025 Wuling Zhiguang EV appears to be a boxy variant of the first generation Wuling Hongguang Mini EV with five doors.

With a tiny bonnet, flat roofline, rear sliding doors, and high beltline, this adorable EV has a design evocative of Japanese kei cars. However, according to Japanese requirements, which demand that cars be less than 3.4 meters long and 1.48 meters wide, it is not a legitimate kei automobile. With a wheelbase of 2600 mm and dimensions of 3685/1530/1750 mm, the Zhiguang EV clearly exceeds these limits.

While interior and pricing details are not yet available, the developer does reveal that the vehicle has a top speed of 100 km/h and is powered by a 30 kW electric motor. A 17.6-kWh battery pack stores energy. It is reported that a version will be released in the future that employs battery swapping via CATL's Evogo battery exchange network. This makes use of little chocolate box-style batteries with a capacity of 26.5 kWh each.
