Jacked Up Fuel Prices From 16 To 22 January
The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has announced the retail prices of all fuels in Malaysia, for the coming week of 16 to 22 January, 2025, the rates are as such.
Regular RON95 maintains its ceiling price of MYR 2.05 per litre, which was set by the government in February 2021.
Premium RON97 increases by 5 cents. The price is now at MYR 3.38 per litre.
Diesel also rises by 5 cents, setting its retail price in Peninsular Malaysia at MYR 3.08 per litre (Euro 5 B10/B20) and MYR 3.28 per litre (Euro 5 B7).
Retail price for diesel in East Malaysia remains at MYR 2.15 per litre (Euro 5 B10/B20) and MYR 2.35 per litre (Euro 5 B7).
That said, these prices take effect from midnight tonight, until the next price announcement from the Ministry next Wednesday, 22 January, 2025.
