Sapura Industrial Berhad (SIB) Launches New Corporate Identity

SIB's Founder and Executive Chairman Tan Sri Shamsuddin Abdul Kadir (fourth from left) with other top management members presenting the firm's new corporate identity (CI).
Earlier today, Sapura Industrial Berhad (SIB) officially launched its new corporate identity (CI). The effort sees a refreshed company logo revealed by its Founder and Executive Chairman Tan Sri Shamsuddin Abdul Kadir during a special ceremony held at M Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
Notably, the firm’s official rebranding also coincides with the 40th anniversary of its inception. “The new logo reinforces that SIB has been a stand-alone company, separated from the Sapura Group of Companies since 2013,” remarked Tan Sri Shamsuddin during the event.

The launch of SIB's new CI also coincided with the 40th anniversary of the firm's inception by Tan Sri Shamsuddin.
“This is more than a logo refresh. It is a bold statement of who we are now—an independent, values-driven industrial company ready to lead with clarity, character, and conviction,” adds Datuk Syed Izuan bin Syed Kamarulbahrin, Managing Director of SIB.
The official new logo unveiling event mentioned saw the presence of representatives from numerous key automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), industry partners, financial institutions, as well as various government agencies.

SIB has been actively pursuing new endeavours of late, evident through the firm's recently forged partnerships with Mubea (left) and Mili Tech Sdn Bhd (right).
For the uninitiated, Bangi-based SIB stands as one of the nation’s largest and longest-running automotive component manufacturers. One of its latest endeavours sees the firm partnering with German firm Mubea to produce high-end hollow stabiliser bars and high-stress coil springs.
Besides that, SIB also recently inked a joint-venture partnership with hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) service specialists Mili Tech Sdn Bhd, both aiming of accelerating the local EV growth throygh their partnership.
The firm also reportedly signed a MOU with China’s ZZ Tech to locally produce battery components. Though not stated or confirmed outright by either parties, this partnership is widely touted to be in support of local automaker Perodua and its upcoming first EV model.
