Proton e.MAS 7 Named Malaysia’s Best-Selling EV As Deliveries Break 4,000 Units
PRO-NET revealed today that cumulative 1H 2025 deliveries of the Proton e.MAS 7 have reached a total of 4,003 units and hold a market share of 23.4%.

National automaker Proton continues to rake in more success with its groundbreaking first electric vehicle (EV) model, the Proton e.MAS 7.
Earlier today, the automaker’s Proton New Energy Technology (PRO-NET) arm revealed that cumulative deliveries for the e.MAS 7 spanning from Jan 1 to June 30 this year have reached a total of 4,003 units.
Said feat puts the Proton e.MAS 7 as Malaysia's No. 1 EV model and Malaysia's best-selling EV throughout 1H 2025.

Said feat sees the e.MAS 7 secure a sizeable 23.4% market share and become the country’s No. 1 EV model for the sixth consecutive month. In other words, the e.MAS 7 remains as Malaysia’s best-selling EV throughout the first half (1H) of 2025.
Besides domestic sales, Proton and PRO-NET also highlights that this success is also charged by overseas exports too. In the same announcement, the national automaker notes that 250 units of the e.MAS 7 have been exported overseas.

As a refresher, the Proton e.MAS 7 was launched back in Dec 2024 in both Prime and Premium variants, the former carrying an RRP of RM109,800 whilst the latter commands an RRP of RM123,800.
Presently though, said figures are lowered by RM4,000 thanks to a previous launch offer that has since been extended to the first 6,000 units. In turn, this brings prices further down to just RM105,800 (Prime) and RM119,800 (Premium).
“We truly appreciate the strong support Malaysians have shown for the e.MAS 7,” said Zhang Qiang, CEO of PRO-NET. The exec further emphasised on the firm’s focus in building lasting trust and value for customers instead of relying on heavy discounts.
Proton and PRO-NET also revealed it has invested over RM2 million into each of its 35 authorised dealers, with some even gaining the added benefit of hosting DC charging points.

Additionally, PRO-NET detailed that since it commenced development of its dedicated Proton e.MAS EV dealership network in Jan 2024, it has invested over RM2 million in each of the 35 dealers it currently has in its network.
Said funding went into equipping these dealers with modern facilities, specialised equipment, and dedicated EV service bays. Additionally, these investments include establishing DC charging points at selected dealerships.
