2025 PJ Half Marathon Road Closures Start Tomorrow – Aug 16

Petaling Jaya is gearing up for the 35th edition of the PJ Half Marathon this Sunday (Aug 17), with 8,000 participants expected to take their marks at Laman MBPJ.
Petaling Jaya Deputy Mayor Aznan Hassan said the city is proud to host athletes from 34 countries, noting particularly strong representation from Japan, Singapore, Philippines, Netherlands and India.
“This year, the 30KM open category has surprisingly attracted the largest turnout, with 2,600 entries, more than any other distance. It shows the growing appetite for long-distance events, and gives us confidence to consider a full marathon in the future,” he added.
