Hyundai-Sime Darby Motor Sdn Bhd (HSDM) just announced that its recently launched 10-seater (10s) variant of the futuristic looking Hyundai Staria MPV is getting overwhelming response from the Malaysian public. Up to date there have been over 200 units sold just within the first month of its launch.

The 10s Hyundai as we had reviewed before, features a spacious cabin space ideal for a large family or a modern executive all well packaged in a modern sleek shell. It comes equipped with Hyundai’s cutting-edge SmartSense™ host of safety features which includes Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Safe Exit Assist, Lane Following Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, among others.

The Staria comes standard with convenience features such as power sliding doors, power assisted tailgate, numerous charging ports, full flat folding and sliding seats, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, USB outlets for all seats, BOSE premium sound system and 3M premium tint.

Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director, Retail and Distribution of Sime Darby Motors Malaysia, said,

“With more than 200 units sold since its launch in early October, we are encouraged that the Malaysian public recognises the features of Hyundai Staria 10-seater as a dynamic MPV which offers the best of both worlds, in terms of practicality and performance. We expect demand to only continue to rise in the remaining months and into the new year.”

Low Yuan Lung, Managing Director of HSDM, added, “Hyundai is leading the pack in terms of innovation coupled with its strikingly futuristic design. This is the driving force of the Hyundai-Staria’s attractiveness. We are heartened by the amazing and positive feedback from the first batch of owners, which is a testament to the experience that Hyundai offers. Given the limited supply and with the next batch expected in early 2023, now is the best time for MPV enthusiasts to lock in their orders while stocks last.”

There are three variants of the Hyundai Staria 10-seater offered to the Malaysian public namely the Lite, Plus, and Max. All variants are offered in five colour choices which are Abyss Black Pearl, Creamy White, Shimmering Silver Metallic, Moonlight Blue Pearl, and Graphite Grey Metallic.

The Hyundai Staria 10-seater which officially replaces the aged Hyundai Starex is priced from RM179,888 and is available for viewing and test drives at all Hyundai dealers nationwide.
