Prolintas Highways has announced a temporary closure of the Kajang-SILK Highway for two days beginning 26 to 27 May 2023. This closure however would only take place during the off-peak hours from 10pm to 6am.

This closure is to facilitate the construction works to install a new pedestrian overpass bridge at Sungai Ramal around Food Valet and JB Autoworld.

Therefore road users are advised to observe the speed limits as well as the instructions of the ground staff when driving along the construction area. Prolintas has taken the precautions to set up traffic controllers and safety warning signs along the area.

Road users heading towards Putrajaya would be required to exit the slip road at the N9 Food Court and rejoin back the main road right after passing the construction site. As for those heading towards Kajang, they would be required to take a longer de-tour passing through Kawasan Perindustrian MIEL, Bangi Homestay Golf Resort and Taman Sri Langat before rejoining the Kajang-SILK Highway.
