New Fiat 600e Unveiled, B-Segment Crossover SUV With 400KM Range

With the debut of the New Fiat 600e, FIAT is once again returning to the B-segment market and draws on the popularity of its predecessor, the Fiat 600. The new Fiat 600e represents the brand's dedication to Italian elegance, sustainability, and a pleasurable driving experience.

The new Fiat 600e is designed to appeal to both city dwellers and outdoor enthusiasts, combining the elements of the B-segment and B-SUV worlds, crossover in short. It provides more space, a wider selection, and a taste of the legendary Dolce Vita lifestyle. The Fiat 600e would be 4170mm in length and could easily seat five passengers and has plenty of storage space, including a large 360-litre boot.

The Fiat 600e comes in two totally electric models: the 600e La Prima and the 600e (RED). These models cater to various consumer demands while focusing on family friendliness and sustainability. However both variants would offer a range exceeding 400KM in the WLTP combined cycle and more than 600KM in the urban cycle, making it appropriate for regular city commuting as well as weekend trips.

Charging the new Fiat 600e is simple and quick. It has a 100-kW rapid charger system that can charge the battery to 80% in under 30 minutes. The car also includes an 11kW onboard charger and a Mode 3 connection for charging at home or in public, allowing for a full charge in under 6 hours. The engine produces 115 kW, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100KM/H in 9.0 seconds. To accommodate individual driving preferences, the new Fiat 600e has three driving modes (eco, regular, and sport).

The new Fiat 600e's has a new front end, unique chrome embellishments and upgraded LED lighting. The bigger wheels, matte black skirts, and wheel arches add to the vehicle's aggressive image. The New FIAT 600e continues the Dolce Vita experience on the inside, with features designed for maximum comfort. The driver's seat has power adjustment and a back massage function, and the Ivory synthetic leather seats with the Fiat monogram, turquoise accents, and three-stage heating create a comfortable environment.

With its enhanced features, the new Fiat 600e prioritises safety. It has level 2 driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, intelligent speed assist, blind spot recognition, and drowsy driver identification. Stop & Go capability, Electric Parking Brake, and Autonomous Emergency Braking are also included in the model. The vehicle has 360° sensors and a rear-view camera with dynamic gridlines to help with parking.

The new Fiat 600e does not disappoint when it comes to connection and convenience. It includes a hands-free power liftgate, automatic air conditioning, rain and dusk sensors, and power windows. A six-speaker sound system, a 10.25" fully customizable radio with navigation, wireless connectivity for CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 7" digital cluster are all included.

The new Fiat 600e (RED) variant is an affordable solution for environmentally conscious buyers. It is part of Fiat's collaboration with (RED), an organisation dedicated to fighting pandemics and AIDS. To show its support for this vital cause, the new Fiat 600e (RED) has unmistakable red accents and design cues both inside and out.
