Sime Darby Beyond Auto Sdn Bhd has partnered with Scientex Berhad, a renowned Malaysian property developer, to expedite the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) across various residential developments, thereby significantly contributing to the country's eco-friendly efforts.

Through this partnership, Scientex would install EV charging stations at strategic points throughout its nationwide residential projects to assist this endeavour. Using its strong presence in affordable housing developments, this strategic move intends to encourage higher EV adoption among residents and visitors, fostering a greener environment.

To start the ball rolling, Mori Residences 2 condominium would be built with Scientex's dedication to sustainability in mind, embracing GreenRE requirements, environmentally conscious architectural elements, and easily accessible EV charging stations for residents.

With this combined effort in promoting wider EV adoption and incorporating EV charging infrastructure into affordable housing projects both Scientex and BYD would contribute to the nation's cleaner and more environmentally responsible future.
