The Little Ant Mini's dimensions are nearly identical to those of the Aygo, measuring 3400mm in length, 1670mm in width, 1550mm in height, and 2150 mm in wheelbase. This little commuter would only be 920 kg in weight.

Chery New Energy is a subsidiary of Chery, which specialises particularly in electric vehicles. Their current lineup includes models such as QQ Ice Cream, Little Ant, Wujie PRO, Arrizo E, and Shuxiangjia.

Seven distinct exterior colors—green, purple, white, grey, blue, light green, and pink—are offered for the new Little Ant New Edition.

In terms of design, the New Edition differs from the Classic Edition in that it has a closed front face with a new Qq logo. The front still has a trapezoidal grille, and the headlamps are still shaped as they were. The spherical taillights are still present, but the Chery logo has been replaced with the English brand name of the company on the rear.

The new variant would feature a suspended roof design and rides on 15-inch multi-spoke black wheels. The New Little Ant would also be constructed with an all-aluminium frame to reduce weight.

The vehicle's interior is kept minimalistic, with white, light blue, and black serving as the primary colour palette. It would feature a 190 cm2 makeup mirror, a dual-colour steering wheel, and a 10.1-inch central control screen. Additionally the New Little Ant would feature Bluetooth connectivity, wireless charging, in-car WeChat, and remote control. Seating capacity is perfect for four with a two plus two configuration.

A 49 HP motor with 95 Nm of torque powers the Little Ant New Edition Standard Version. It gives users the option of a 28.86 kWh ternary lithium battery pack with a range of 301 km or a 25.05 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack with a range of 251 km. A 29.23 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack with a 301 km range is an alternative. This variant offers four driving modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, and Epedal, with a top speed of 100 km/h.

The Little Ant New Edition High-End Model boasts a 76 HP motor that generates 150 Nm of torque. With its 40.3 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, it has an increased range of 408 km.

The Little Ant would be rear-wheel drive in both the Standard and High-End versions, and both would feature DC fast charging, which could charge a battery to 80% capacity in under 40 minutes. It would also include four driving modes—Normal, Eco, Sport, and Epedal—and a top speed of 100 km/h.
