Lexus has unveiled the LF-ZC (Lexus Future Zero-emission Catalyst) concept, a significant part of their upcoming electric vehicle (BEV) lineup set to hit the market in 2026 at the Japan Mobility Show 2023. This model serves as a catalyst for reimagining the electric era while adhering to Lexus's commitment to craftsmanship, blending functionality and beauty seamlessly.

The LF-ZC boasts a sleek, low-slung design with a spacious cabin and a strong emphasis on design that fuses form and function. It aims to offer an engaging driving experience through next-gen BEV innovations, including the all-wheel drive DIRECT4 system and Steer-by-Wire steering.

The digitalized Intelligent Cockpit features the "Arene OS" interface, allowing for continuous updates in line with evolving technology, advanced safety features, and multimedia capabilities. Advanced AI technology is employed for a voice recognition system that caters to drivers' preferences and moods.

Sustainability is at the core of Lexus's design philosophy, with the Bamboo CMF Concept focusing on circular resource use and innovative interior design, merging environmental and social sustainability with luxury.

Inside, the LF-ZC positions front occupants in a spacious, forward-leaning layout with an unexpectedly open feel, thanks to the flat floor and panoramic roof. Controls are conveniently consolidated on digital pads for intuitive operation.

Aerodynamics play a crucial role in its design, targeting a Cd (Coefficient of drag) value of about 0.2. The vehicle's compact powertrain enables high efficiency and an extended range. The LZ-ZC measures 4,750mm in length, 1,880mm in width, 1,390mm in height, with a 2,890mm wheelbase.
