An Unrivalled Mix Of Craftsmanship And Technology, Bentley Presents The Flying Spur Hybrid

Debuted at the 2022 Autoworld Museum in Belgium, Bentley Motors presented the latest addition to its Flying Spur family, the Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid.
This debut marks an important model for Belgium and Europe, where the demand for electrified products has been exceptionally strong during 2021.

Bentley Motors’ regional director for Europe, Balazs Rooz, commented, “We are very much looking forward to engaging with Belgian customers and fans of the Bentley brand at Autoworld. With the recent announcement of our strong performance across Europe, supported by a double-digit increase result, 2022 will be another busy year with the brand activities ahead of us.”
Significantly, the new Flying Spur Hybrid signifies the brand’s first electrified sedan and the most environmentally friendly Bentley to date.

The vehicle offers a seamless merger between the internal combustion engine and electric motor, enabling progressive serenity regardless of the driving characteristics demanded by the driver.
It combines a 2.9-litre V6 petrol mill with an advanced electric motor, generating a total output of 544 PS (536 bhp) and 750 Nm of torque.

Notably, the new Flying Spur Hybrid is now the most efficient Bentley ever, capable of covering over 700 km when fully fuelled.
Other than that, accompanying the Flying Spur Hybrid at the Autoworld venue were over 40 exceptional cars from the history of the automotive industry.
Namely for Bentley, these were the Flying Spur V8, the Continental GT Speed Convertible and the Bentley Continental GT3-R.
These Bentley models on display showcased the strongest product portfolio in the history of the brand whilst cementing the role of Bentley in automotive history.
That said, with the Bentayga Hybrid’s prior introduction, this European debut of the Flying Spur Hybrid furthers the progress of the company’s Beyond100 strategy.

At which, said strategy has Bentley set on becoming a fully end-to-end carbon neutral brand by the year 2030.
Meaning, it will see the entire Bentley range having an electrified drivetrain option by 2024 and the brand's first BEV in 2025.
Rooz concluded, “While the Flying Spur Hybrid will reach our customers from April onwards, we are excited to hear the feedback from this first public appearance in Europe.”
