MEX Highway To Test Out Contra-flow Route Starting 16 November From KM 11.5 to KM 7.9 North Bound

The Malaysian Highways Authority (LLM) has given its seal of approval for the implementation of a contra-flow route on a trial basis on the MEX Highway heading north from Putrajaya towards Kuala Lumpur (KM 11.5 - KM 7.9) starting this November 16.
Maju Expressway Sdn Bhd, the concession holder, assured that the contra-flow route will be monitored and its effectiveness evaluated from time to time.
This contra-flow is specifically for light vehicles (Class 1) that are heading to Jalan Tun Razak and the city centre through Salak Selatan Toll Plaza only. Users who are exiting Bukit Jalil or Kuchai Lama are advised to stay on the main route without entering the contra route.
The contra-flow is being tested out to create a smoother traffic flow and reduce travel time for all MEX Highway users and it would be implemented from Monday to Friday starting at 7am until 10am except for weekends or public holidays.
MEX Highway users are advised to plan their journey when the contra-flow is implemented and are reminded to stay in the right lane to avoid confusion and disruption of traffic flow.
For the latest updates on users are advised to follow MEX Highway on its official Twitter and Facebook or call MEX Helpline at 03-83159111.
