6 More TNB Electron Charging Station Coming In 2023 - All On Major Highways

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) the concessionaire for TNB Electron, their EV Charging Facility subsidiary recently announced their 2023 road map for the setting up of their EV Charging facilities in Malaysia.
As of now TNB Electron charging facilities are available at 3 R&Rs, namely Ayer Keroh (heading north - 2x90kw), Tapah (heading north - 2x90kw) on the North-South Expressway and Paka (heading north - 2x90kw) on East Coast Expressway 2 (LPT2).

A further 6 more TNB Electron stations are already in development to be launched this year. These stations are located at R&R Machap (heading south), R&R Rawang (heading north), R&R Gunung Semanggol (heading south), R&R Gurun (both heading north and south) and R&R Paka (heading south).
For the 3 charging stations that are already online, TNB Electron has adopted the per/minute charging rates whereby the charging fee at the R&R Tapah Northbound, is RM2.05 per minute for the 80kW charger and RM2.35 per minute for the 100kW charger.
However, for the charging facilities at the R&R Ayer Keroh Northbound and R&R Paka Northbound, all the 90kW chargers would command a rate of RM2.20 per minute. All EV users are advised to download the GO-TO-U mobile app and reload the in-app wallet to gain access to all TNB Electron Charging Points.
