The premium sedan has a top speed of 265 kmph and a range of more than 800 kilometres.
Aehra, an Italian electric-vehicle startup, unveiled its new European-made sedan on Friday, which will serve the high-premium market segment and joins the firm's sport-utility vehicle, which was first shown late last year.

According to Aehra, both models will go into production in 2026. They will be priced between 160,000 and 180,000 euros, putting them in the "high premium and luxury" segment, according to Aehra's co-founder and CEO, Hazim Nada.

The new sedan follows the release of Aehra's electric SUV in November 2022. According to Aehra, both will have a top speed of 265 kmph and a range of more than 800 kilometres. 771a3fa7e9d86b9f9188552559681e8e.jpeg

The first deliveries are scheduled for 2026, beginning in key markets such as the United States, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Preorders will be available next year, according to Aehra.

According to Nada, full-scale production will begin in late 2027, with annual production targets of 25,000 vehicles for each model. Both vehicles are so-called native EVs, which means that the majority of the design is new and not based on an existing internal-combustion platform.

Aehra, whose chief design officer and chief engineer were previously with Lamborghini and Ferrari, respectively, has stated that it intends to invest a total of 750 million euros. image.png

Aehra is still weighing assembly options. The preferred option, at least for the time being, is to rely on a large contract manufacturer in either central or northern Europe, according to Nada. Another option is to start a new facility in Italy or buy and renovate an existing one, but only if backed by state funds, according to Nada.
