Aehra’s Electric SUV Unveiled, Boasting Up To 800 Km Of Range

Every automaker is throwing their hats into the EV ring these days, and recently an EV-startup from Milan, Aehra has made itself known by unveiling its new electric SUV.
This ultra-premium segment e-SUV is currently nameless, and is designed by Filippo Perini, the man who gave the world the Lamborghini Aventador and Huracan.

Design-wise, it has a mean and somewhat sinister looking front end, featuring slit-like LED lights paired to what seems to be aero-functional air intakes.
Pan to the side, a sleek profile can be seen with short overhangs, aerodynamic fenders and a roof that flows backwards akin to a fastback.

Beautifully, it has doors unlike any other SUVs. Aehra calls them elytra doors, which open up and forward for easy egress and digress. Plus, it also has motorsport-esque side mirror cameras.
Flipping to the back, it boasts a minimalistic outlook with a small rear wing, and slit-shaped integrated lights to match the front.

Overall, the four-door e-SUV has a smooth and clean contoured bodywork, swaddling its strong and lightweight carbon fiber mono-chassis.
Interior-wise, the details are sparse, but Aehra said its 118-inch wheelbase body will feature a lounge-esque setting, and an uber comfortable environment.

Of which, its right- and left-hand drive optional, spaciously built cabin is said able to seat five full-grown adults without any issues whatsoever.
Performance-wise, not much is also known, except that it houses a 120-kWh battery that offers around 800 Km of driving range.

Along with three electric motors, one mounted at the front axle and two at the rear, generating up to 600-kW/805 Hp of output.
Pricing-wise, according to Aehra, it is expected to range between USD 160,000 (MYR 752,800) and USD 180,000 (MYR 846,900).

It will be offered in several markets, namely North America, Europe, China, the United Kingdom, and Gulf States.
That said, first deliveries of the Aehra e-SUV will start in 2025, together with an electric sedan that will be unveiled in February 2023.
