WCE Activates Contra Lane On Shah Alam Expressway - July 13, 16 & 17

West Coast Expressway Sdn Bhd (WCE) would be implementing a contra lane on the Shah Alam Expressway (SAE) starting today July 13 followed by July 16 and 17 from 10PM to 5AM. This contra lane implementation would be carried out in stages, starting from KM23.5 to KM23.0 in both directions of the expressway.
The purpose of this contra lane is to facilitate construction activities related to the West Coast Expressway project (Taiping - Banting) which includes the installation of the concrete deck slab, removal of safety netting, temporary bracket, and bridge parapet.

In order to ensure smooth operations, WCE is requesting all SAE road users to exercise caution while driving along this stretch during this period and adhere to the instructions provided by road signages and traffic officers.
