GWM Ora 07 Now Open for Booking – 2 Variants, Special Early Bird Promo

Bookings for the upcoming GWM Ora 07 EV are now open, featuring two variants and a special early bird promo of a 5-year free maintenance package.
Ahead of its much-anticipated debut later this month, GWM Malaysia has finally opened the order books for the upcoming GWM Ora 07, starting today. For the Malaysian market, this stylish EV saloon is offered in two trim levels, namely the 'Long Range' and 'Performance'.

The GWM Ora 07 will be offered in two variants for the Malaysian market, namely the 'Long Range' RWD and 'Performance' AWD.
Starting with the former, the baseline Long Range model features a single, front-mounted (FWD) electric motor setup rated at 201 HP (150 kW) and 340 NM. Juiced by a sizable 83.5-kWh LFP battery pack, the Ora 07 Long Range boasts a decent max EV range of 600 KM on the more stringent WLTP standards.
Moving on to the range-topping Performance variant, this model sees the Ora 07 getting a peppier dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup, delivering a total system output of 402 HP (300 kW) and 680 NM. This translates to a decent 0-100 KM/H sprint time of 4.3 seconds, while its max range is shortened to 495 KM (WLTP), despite using the same battery pack as the Long Range model.

Besides the two variants, the Malaysian-bound Ora 07 is also available in no less than three colour options, namely Crystal Purple, Amethyst Gray, and Jade White.
Safety features are also not too shabby for the GWM Ora 07, as both variants come equipped with a full-swing of active and passive safety features. Here, you can expect to find ADAS functions like lane departure system, lane keeping system, blind spot monitoring system, intelligent evasion, traffic sign recognition, cruise speed limit, and many more.

You can now place a booking for the GWM Ora 07 at any authorised GWM dealerships, or via GWM Malaysia's official website.
Those who are keen on the GWM Ora 07 can now place their booking through any authorised GWM dealerships nationwide, as well as via GWM Malaysia’s official website. For a limited time only, customers who book the ORA 07 from today onwards will receive an exclusive benefit in the form of a 5-year free maintenance package, including parts and labour.

While GWM Malaysia has yet to reveal any pricing for the Ora 07, we can expect it to be tagged within the same region as its two closest competitors, namely the Tesla Model 3 and the newly-launched BYD Seal. For the record, the Model 3 starts at RM189,000 for the baseline Standard Range model, while the BYD Seal is priced lower from RM179,800 onwards.
