2024 Mitsubishi Xpander Plus Open For Bookings At RM115,000*

We had an early look at the refreshed and new 2024 Mitsubishi Xpander Plus ahead of today's announcement.
As expected, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) updated its line-up this week with the arrival of the face-lifted Mitsubishi Xpander 7-seat MPV crossover model – one of its current best-sellers. The refreshed model has rolled off its local assembly (CKD) line today and is now opened for bookings.
New here is an upgraded 2024 Mitsubishi Xpander Plus variant pictured, which now serves as a range-topper. Typical of mid-cycle refreshes as such, this three-row MPV has been given a host of aesthetic refreshments plus a slew of newly added kit on board.

With its exterior, the front end gets revised and sharper double-stack LED DRLs and headlights combo matched with redesigned grille and bonnet. At the rear, the LED taillights feature a new T-shaped graphic pattern, new tailgate garnish, as well as a prominent rear spoiler added.
Visually, the Xpander Plus sports refreshed LED DRLs and headlights up front, matched with sharper grille and bonnet design plus a silver-finished lower bumper garnish. Down the side, this new variant still rolls on dual-tone 17-inch wheels, and it gets new silver-hued side sills too.
Changes continue at the rear whereby this Plus variant gains a prominent and large rear spoiler mounted atop of the rear hatch. New at the rear too are its LED taillight cluster that now form a T-shape graphic patten, revised tailgate garnish, and new silver lower bumper inserts.

Specifically for the Plus, it gains new faux leather upholstery covering all seven seats and dash.
Moving inside and what is new here is the faux leather upholstery covering the seats and dash, updated 9-inch touchscreen offering both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity plus both reverse camera and 360-degree parking view monitor, a wireless charging pad, plus both front and rear-facing DVR (dashcams).
Unchanged is the Xpander’s offer of a single-zone automatic air-conditioning paired with dedicated roof-mounted rear blowers, standard-equipped keyless entry and ignition, electronic parking brake, as well as versatile second row seats that can recline, slide forwards and back, or be folded and tumbled to either offer easier access to the third-row or expand cargo space.

As for powertrain, there are no major changes to note under the hood in this updated Xpander model as it continues to adopt a familiar 1.5-litre MIVEC 4-cyl petrol mill. Boasting 105 PS and 141 NM, drive is sent to the front wheels (FWD) via a 4-speed automatic transmission still as well.
What appears unchanged from before too are the standard safety features primed in the 2024 Mitsubishi Xpander Plus. Apart form dual-airbags, the list here include ABS brakes, stability and traction control suites, hill-start assist, as well as ISOFIX childseat anchors.

No major changes under the hood, so the 2024 Mitsubishi Xpander Plus soldiers on with a familiar 1.5-litre MIVEC 4-cyl petrol mill driving the front wheels with 105 PS and 141 NM via a 4-speed automatic box.

Orders are now opened for the 2024 Mitsubishi Xpander Plus where it commands a special introductory price of RM115,000, albeit for a limited time only.
Overall, it’s safe to say the changes on board are rather mild, but they arguably should provide greater ease over the long term. Coupled with the revised exterior’s sharp additions, this somewhat justifies the slight price hike this new up-specced variant commands.
Opened for bookings at authorised Mitsubishi dealerships now, MMM is offering the 2024 Mitsubishi Xpander Plus with a special introductory price of RM115,000, albeit for a limited time only.
Additionally, the first 500 customers booking 2024 Mitsubishi Xpander Plus will also receive an exclusive gift in the form of a Naturehike foldable trolley worth RM400. The revised 2024MY Mitsubishi Xpander will launch officially this month, so expect more details then.
