Limited-Edition Aston Martin Valour Arrives in Malaysia – Two Units Only

Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur has delivered two units of the Valour—a track-focused special limited to only 110 units worldwide.
Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur (AMKL) has delivered two units of its latest special model, the Aston Martin Valour, for the Malaysian market. Limited to only 110 units globally, this track-focused special is built to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the Gaydon-based marque.

The two Malaysian-bound Valours are each draped in unique Tayos Turquoise and Buckinghamshire Green colourways, although no exact prices were mentioned by AMKL for each example of this limited-run special.

Unveiled globally in July 2023, the Valour is an ultra-exclusively track-focused special that is built to honour Aston Martin’s long tradition of building some of the world’s greatest front-engined, high-performance sportscars. And the Valour is indeed a very capable car, as it is powered by a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine that is mated to a bespoke six-speed manual gearbox to deliver a whopping 715 PS and 753 NM.
Sticking to its true sportscar roots, the Valour’s fire-breathing V12 mill is mated to a bespoke six-speed manual gearbox that helps to facilitate power delivery to its rear wheels (RWD). For maximum analogue driving feel, the Valour also comes with a mechanical limited-slip differential that works in-tandem with the car’s electronic traction and stability control systems.

Being a track-focused model, the Valour is not just about crazy powertrain numbers, as it is also backed with race-bred mechanical upgrades to help maximise your lap times. Key highlights include a bespoke suspension system featuring anti-roll bars and adaptive dampers, standard-fitted carbon ceramic brakes with six-piston callipers at the front and four-piston ones for the rear, and many more.

On the design front, Aston Martin designers managed to incorporate the brand’s contemporary design languages into the iconic long-hooded GT bodystyle AM models are known for. As a result, the Valour looks like a modern-day interpretation of the iconic Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT.

Aesthetic purposes aside, some of the design elements featured on the Valour were put on to maximise its performance, including the large horseshoe vent on its elongated front hood, the twin air ducts flanking on both sides of the front grille, as well as the triple tailpipe exhaust system fabricated from lightweight stainless steel that weighs 7 KG lighter compared to the conventional system. Not to forget, the Valour’s 21-inch forged alloy ‘Honeycomb’ wheels shod in bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tyres also helped to shed off some extra weight from this track-focused special.

Despite its borderline hardcore, track-specific performance upgrades, the Valour still comes with a luxurious interior laced with premium materials and plush upholstery. Strictly available in a two-seater layout, customers can dress up the Valour’s cockpit according to their own unique specifications, thanks to the tons of options offered by AM’s Q bespoke arm.

Some of the options customers can choose from are the unique woollen tweed upholstery for the Valour’s lightweight carbon fibre seats, which is an homage to Aston Martin’s Le Mans-winning racer back in 1959, the DBR1. Besides the seats, customers can also choose unique specifications for some other interior parts, including the door cards, front dash, central console, gear knobs, and many more.
