BYD premium sub-brand Denza marked a significant milestone with the delivery of the first 200 units of the Denza D9 during the ‘Denza and BYD Electrifying Experience’ event at Plaza Arkadia, Desa ParkCity earlier today.
Among these, 55 units were handed over at the event, while the remaining deliveries took place simultaneously at Denza dealerships nationwide.
Since its launch last month, the Denza D9 has gained significant traction in Malaysia, with 800 units sold in its first week.

Eagle Zhao, Managing Director of BYD Malaysia Sdn Bhd, expressed enthusiasm over the strong reception: “The delivery of our first 200 units of the Denza D9 marks an exciting milestone for Denza in Malaysia, as it reflects the growing demand for premium electric mobility.”
The Denza D9 sets a new benchmark in luxury electric travel. It is available in two variants: the Advanced FWD, priced at RM259,000, and the Premium AWD at RM309,000, offering an NEDC-rated range of up to 600 KM.

Both variants are equipped with a 103.3 kWh LFP Blade battery pack. The Advanced FWD’s single motor produces 308 HP and 360 NM, while the Premium AWD’s dual-motor setup delivers 369 HP and 470 NM. The quickest variant despatches 0-100 km/h in 6.9 secs, and both supports 11 kW AC and 166 kW DC fast charging inputs.

The DenzS D9 seamlessly blends elegance with performance through its sleek design. Inside, it offers a spacious and tech-laden cabin featuring intelligent voice control, a state-of-the-art infotainment system, smart connectivity, and the DiSus adaptive damping system for an exceptionally smooth ride.
During the event, visitors had the opportunity to explore the Denza D9 firsthand. As part of the launch offer, customers who purchase the MPV at the event or any Denza Malaysia outlet by March 16 will receive exclusive privileges, including a complimentary wall box with an installation card and a six-year free service package.
