Kineta, a Sime Darby Berhad (Sime) subsidiary and provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, has reached a key milestone recently with over 8,888 EV chargers sold nationwide.

To mark the occasion, Kineta launched the “Charging Success” campaign - a nationwide initiative celebrating the growing adoption of EV charging solutions.

As part of the campaign, the company presented a special reward to its 8,888th customer, Dr. Nauratul Nadiah, who received an installation voucher worth RM1,888 and a 3M tinting voucher valued at RM3,600, sponsored by 3M PANA G Sdn. Bhd.

Head of Sales Melvin Chuah noted that the company is now aiming for its next milestone of 10,000 chargers sold by mid-2025. “This figure is not just about volume - it reflects the confidence customers place in our technology and after-sales service,” he added.

KINETA also shared its growth across Malaysia, with branches in Penang, Kuantan, and Johor Bahru, along with appointed dealers in Ipoh and Melaka, and smart partners throughout Peninsular and East Malaysia. The company also maintains a regional office in Hong Kong and has expanded into major cities within Greater China to serve the region’s fast-growing EV market.

According to Kineta, all of its in-house charger installation engineers are certified by the Energy Commission (ST) to ensure consistent service standards and technical reliability for both residential and commercial clients.

Kineta continues to position itself as a key player in Malaysia’s evolving EV landscape, offering a wide range of charging solutions, customer-focused campaigns, and strong regional support infrastructure.
