Malaysia Autoshow 2025 Charges Up Ahead Of May 9 Opening Day

The Malaysia Autoshow 2025 (MAS 2025) opens its doors this week to the public from May 9 onwards at MAEPS, Serdang. Here's what you can expect...
Carrying its new ‘Shifting The Future’ theme this year, the annual Malaysia Autoshow 2025 (MAS 2025) edition is set to welcome visitors starting this week. The show is organised by the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) and supported by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI).
As before, one of the country’s largest auto expos takes place at MAEPS, Serdang. Things will start with an official Press Day held on Thursday, May 8, before it is opened publicly from May 9 to May 15.

MAS 2025 will see over 50,000 square metres filled with interactive exhibitions and activities hosted by various leading OEM brands, with many electing to launch over 70 new vehicles, products, and technologies at this year's show.
Show organisers MARii touts that over 70 launches, encompassing new vehicles, products, and technologies alike, will be held throughout the show. Amongst the leading OEM brands present here include Proton, Perodua, BMW Group Malaysia, Audi and VW (PHS Automotive Malaysia), Chery Malaysia, Jaecoo Malaysia, GWM Malaysia, BYD Cars Malaysia, and more.
Covering over 50,000 square meters of exhibition and activity space, MAS 2025 will highlight the achievements and future direction of key national frameworks such as the National Automotive Policy (NAP), New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030, and the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), claims show organisers MARii.

Besides dedicated on-road courses for car test-drives (top, left) and motorcycle test-rides (top, right), a special 4x4 off-road track designed by M4TREC is present at MAS 2025 too.
Critically, like past editions, visitors can also participate in test-drives and test-rides at the show through three specially crafted courses. Included here is a road-test course for cars spanning over 5.2 KM, a dedicated motorcycle test-ride course roughly 1 KM long, and a 4x4 off-road course specially designed by M4TREC.
