MAS 2025: smart #1 Brabus Limited Edition Previewed – 20 Units Only!

Besides the new smart #5, smart Malaysia has also previewed the special, 20-unit-only smart #1 Brabus Limited Edition.
Besides the new smart #5, smart Malaysia has also showcased yet another special model at the ongoing Malaysia Autoshow 2025 (MAS 2025), namely the smart #1 Brabus Limited Edition. Developed in collaboration with Brabus Kuala Lumpur, this special EV crossover hatch is limited to only 20 units nationwide, with pricing details expected to be unveiled later this year.

This limited edition #1 Brabus essentially gains several Brabus-specific modifications that were introduced last year, which were designed to further enhance the sportiness of this manic EV hot hatch. For starters, the limited edition model is now dressed in a special Brabus bodykit comprising an extended front lip, a prominent rear diffuser, and a Brabus-badged rear spoiler.

On top of the bodykit, the special #1 Brabus also rolls on larger and snazzier 19-inch Brabus Monoblock Z alloy wheels, while its overall ride height has been reduced by 35 mm, giving the car a lower, more muscular stance. Not to forget, there are also special commemorative plates located at each side of the B-pillars, with “1 of 20” text written on them.

The Brabus-ification continues as we get inside the #1 Brabus Limited Edition, where it gains Brabus parts like illuminated door sill plates, aluminum foot pedals, a slew of red accents and stitchings, plus a special Brabus commemorative plate at the central console.
Predictably, no powertrain changes took place in this special model, as it is still powered by a dual-motor AWD powertrain setup rated at up to 422 HP and 543 Nm, allowing this hot hatch for a rapid 0-100 km/h sprint time of only 3.9 seconds. Juice is provided by a 66-kWh NMC battery pack that supplies the #1 Brabus with up to 400 km of WLTP range.

As of now, smart Malaysia has yet to reveal the asking price for the special smart #1 Brabus Limited Edition. But given the standard #1 Brabus currently retails at RM249,000, we can expect this special model to fetch a slightly higher price.
Those who are keen to check out the smart #1 Brabus Limited Edition, as well as the new smart #5, can come down to the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, happening at MAEPS Serdang from May 9 to 15, 2025.
