Next-Gen Zeekr 7X Revealed - More Power, Range & 900-volt Architecture
-full_normal.jpg)
Barely months after making its Malaysian debut, the Zeekr 7X has already undergone a major evolution in China. The 2026 model year version pictured, now open for pre-orders, brings stronger performance, smarter driver assistance, and a new 900-volt (900V) electrical architecture, marking a notable leap from the version just launched locally.
Spyshots previously shared through Weibo had already revealed the first look at this EV SUV’s updated exterior. The facelift brings a reshaped lower front bumper, redesigned taillights that now stretch deeper into the tailgate, and a higher-mounted rear license plate for a cleaner look.

Secondary light clusters have been moved onto the body-coloured section of the rear, creating a stronger visual contrast, while new alloy wheel designs complete the visual refresh. Despite these tweaks, the 7X keeps its fastback silhouette and dimensions identical to the current model, which measures 4,825 MM long with a sizeable 2,925 MM wheelbase.
In China, the new Zeekr 7X sees three variants ready starting with the 75 kWh RWD Max. Said single-motor variant now delivers 496 hp and sprints from 0–100 km/h in 5.4 secs, making it quicker than the current Malaysia-spec RWD model rated at 421 hp and 440 Nm. Range stretches up to 620 KM (CLTC) powered by Geely’s latest Golden Brick battery tech.

The 103 kWh RWD Max uses CATL’s Qilin battery pack instead, keeping the same 496 hp output but extending range to a class-leading 802 KM (CLTC). Topping the range off is the AWD Ultra, which boasts a dual-motor setup for a combined 784 hp and 710 Nm, completing the century sprint in just 2.98 seconds while still managing 715 KM (CLTC) on a full charge.
All variants now ride on a 900V high-voltage platform, cutting recharge times dramatically. Zeekr claims a 10% to 80% re-charge time of just 10 minutes. In contrast,, the Malaysia-spec Zeekr 7X uses an 800-volt (800V) setup instead, which enables the same 10–80% charge in around 10.5 minutes at 450 kW.

A key highlight of the 2026 7X lies in its advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite. All come equipped with Zeekr’s G-Pilot H7 system, powered by Nvidia’s Drive Thor-U chip capable of 700 TOPS. The setup supports highway and city Navigate-on-Autopilot, plus door-to-door navigation even without HD maps, a first for Zeekr’s midsize SUV.
Inside, the design remains clean and tech-forward. The cabin retains its minimalist layout, now available in new orange and purple interior themes. A 15.05-inch infotainment display, 13.02-inch instrument cluster, and flat-bottom steering wheel dominate the dash.

Comfort features include sensor-based frameless automatic doors, an onboard refrigerator with cooling and heating, rear tables, and a spacious 905-litre boot. Optional 19-21-inch wheels, red brake callipers, and a retractable tow hook are also expected, though towing capacity has yet to be confirmed.
For now, Zeekr has not confirmed when the 2026 version will reach export markets. If the rollout follows past timelines, Malaysia could see the refreshed 7X by late 2026, potentially bringing with it the 900V architecture and Thor-powered G-Pilot system that are setting new benchmarks in China.
